Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment and work motivation on employee performance in handling public infrastructure and facilities (PPSU) at the Kedoya Selatan, West Jakarta. The method in this research is descriptive and quantitative approach. The population and sample in this study were 85 respondents using saturated sampling technique. The analysis uses SPSS 23 software. The results of this study show that the effect of the work environment (X1) on employee performance (Y) has a positive and significant effect, this can be shown in the results of the tcount > t table 8.836 > 1.989 with a significant level of 0.000 < 0.05. The effect of work motivation (X2) on employee performance (Y) can be concluded that there is no significant effect, this can be shown in the results of t-test > ttable -0.689<1.989 with a significant level of 0.493<0.0. Based on the SPSS data output table above, namely the Summary Model, it is known that the coefficient of determination or R Square is 0.545%. The value of R Square comes from squaring the value of the correlation coefficient or "R", which is 0.739. The magnitude of the coefficient of determination (R Square) is 0.545 or equal to 54.5%. This figure means that the work Environment variable (X1) and Work Motivation variable (X2) simultaneously (together) effect the Employee Performance variable (Y) by 54.5%. While the remaining 45.5% (100% - 54.5%) is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
