Abstract

This study discusses implicatures contained in the advertisement body care Kartini magazine in terms of pragmatics. The purpose of this study was to determine the violation of the principle of cooperation and types of implicatures contained in the language of advertising in magazines Kartini body care. This research uses qualitative research. After that the data collected by using notes, which records the data that has been collected in accordance with the classification advertisement studied. The theory is used to analyze the data that is the theory of implicatures by HPGrice. These results indicate that conversational implicatures ads in magazines Kartini body care occurs for abuse maksim- conversation maxim expressed Grice. Maxims are violated is the maxim of quantity, the maxim of relevance, and the maxim of the way. Body care ads in magazines Kartini has implicature types of conventional and non-konvernasional.
