Abstract

This study entitled“Moral and Philosophical Criticism in Edward Field’s and Robert Frost’s Selected Poems”. The purpose of this study is to analyse ethic effect for forming the moral and understanding ethic by moral practiced which were found out in these poems. This analysis used the theory of moral and philosophical criticism. The method of this study was qualitative. There were two theories used, they are by Paul and Elder. Both of their theories were relevant in supporting the analysis of this study. Based on the data analysis found: understanding someone would affect ethic becoming the background of view; ethic would encouraged someone to do and to act the moral; everyone has different comprehension although they lived and grew up together; lastly, moral was application of understanding ethic by someone.
