Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the response of readers and find out what readers get after reading the "I Am Malala" novel. In analyzing data findings, the writer used Qualitative approach. The results of this study shows that all of the readers have a positive response to the "I Am Malala" novel and the readers also got a lot of positive values after reading the "I Am Malala" novel, the positive values contained in the “I Am Malala” novel such as motivation and gratitude. The readers feel inspired to brave to do things that were previously afraid for them to do and the readers’ gratitude also increased because their lives are better than Malala's life which was described in the novel "I Am Malala".
