Abstract

This study aimed to find out and concludes whether the word card can improve vocabulary for elementary students. Sample data for an experiment is uses 2nd grade of student SDIT AL IMAN Bojonggede that consist of four meeting. The data collection is by giving the pre-test before treatment and giving post-test after treatment. from the data analysis, the result of this study is that t_test= 0,121 lower than t_table=1,729, it can be concluded that there is no difference between the experiment and control class but there is a significant difference in pre-test and post-test of the students experiment class. Key Words : Teaching vocabulary, word card, quantitative, experimental study.
