Abstract

In teaching vocabulary for young learners, the teacher shall understand their characteristics well and give the appropriate strategy. This study aims to find out whether using modeled talk strategy had an effect to help the kindergarten students more active and memorize easier or not. In analyzing the data findings, the researcher used Quantitative approach. The sample data is the B class of Al Insani Kindergarten—Pamulang that consists of six meetings. The result of the study shows that ttest value (=7,94) is higher than ttable value (=2,08) for the significancy level α= 0,05, therefore the modeled talk is proved can help the students‟ learn more active and memorize vocabulary easier.
