Abstract
This study was aimed at improving the students speaking skills through Cooperative Language Learning. This research was conducted in SMK Islam Daarul Khoir, and the numbers of students were twenty five. This study used Cooperative Language Learning (CLL) as a method. The subject of this study was the tenth grade students of SMK Islam Daarul Khoir that consists of twenty five students. The steps of research procedure were observing and analyzing. The data analysis used qualitative method. The data were obtained from the observations, interviews, questionnaires and the tests. The result of this research shows that the students become confident in speaking and more active in the class. Keywords: Teaching, Speaking, Cooperative Language Learning, CLL, Qualitative
