Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine tricksterism as the suvival strategy that occurs in Catching Fire novel. It discussed the tricksterism as survival strategy from Elizabeth Ammons and Annette White-Parks. Furthermore, the goals of this study are to find tricksterism as survival strategy and identify the effects of it in the society. Meanwhile, the result of this study reveals that oppressed people can determine tricks as their survival strategy and to opposition the sytem in social life.
