Abstract

Title : Women Struggle in “The Theory of Everything” Script : A Perspective of Feminism. The research is aimed to identify how women struggle reflected on Jane’s hawking works in The Theory of Everything. It is explained about women struggle that occurs in family and education. Women struggle occurs as the effect of gender inequality in many sectors of society. Charvet (1982:10) states that because the courage of women who are very radical, women get others freedom such as the right to acquired. The research is qualitative. From the analysis of the study, it was found the result in The Theory of Everything movie script, there is feminism issue on women struggle. There are women struggle that found on Jane in The Theory of Everything, such as: Ability women to take care of men, being decision maker and embracing the knowledge.
