Abstract

This research aims to develop an expert system application based on Android using the Forward Chaining method for diagnosing acute respiratory infections (ARI). ARI is often neglected because its symptoms resemble those of other diseases, leading to delayed treatment and serious complications. This application facilitates users in obtaining an initial diagnosis and quick treatment solutions by relying on expert Knowledge. Using the Forward Chaining method, this application provides a systematic diagnosis and helps users better understand their condition. This research is expected to raise public awareness about ARI and provide an effective tool for early treatment.
