Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of education level and work experience on employee performance either partially or simultaneously at PT. Ching Luh Indonesia. This research method uses a quantitative method. The data collection method used is a questionnaire. The sampling technique in this study used a random sampling technique, only a few members of the population were sampled as many as 99 employees. Data analysis used the SPSS version 26 program. The analysis techniques used were data instrument testing, classical assumption testing, analysis testing, and hypothesis testing. Partially testing the hypothesis on the education level variable (X1) obtained the value obtained tcount > ttable (6.358 > 1.984) and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. This means that the level of education (X1) has a significant effect on employee performance (Y). Partially testing the hypothesis of work experience variable (X2) obtained tcount > ttable (11.113 > 1.984) and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. This means that work experience (X2) has a significant effect on employee performance (Y). Simultaneous hypothesis testing obtained the value of Fcount > Ftable (61.863 > 2.700) and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. So it can be concluded that the level of education (X1) and work experience (X2) simultaneously influence employee performance (Y). The determination obtained by R Square is 0.563, meaning that the variable level of education and work experience together has a contribution of 56.3%, while the remaining 43.7% is influenced by other factors not examined in the study.
