Abstract
This thesis is entitled “Woman’s Struggles in the Novel If Tomorrow Comes by Sidney Sheldon (2015)”. The purpose of this study was to analyze women’s struggles in the Novel If Tomorrow Comes. The writer uses the theory of Simone de Beauvoir 1949, in his book The Second Sex. The writer used descriptive qualitative research as the method. This study has two problems to be explored, namely, women's struggles reflected in the novel If Tomorrow Comes, and The struggles of the main character (Tracy) affect her life in the novel If Tomorrow Comes. Based on this analysis, the researcher draws two conclusions, first, there are several conditions of struggle reflected in what the main character does in fighting for her life, and second, the effect of the struggle the main character is doing gives her freedom and happiness.
