Abstract

This thesis is entitled "The Effectiveness of Animation Video towards Students Listening Skill for Seventh Grade Students of SMP Negeri 21 Tangerang". The objectives of this study is to the aim of the research is to find out the effectiveness of animation video towards student listening skill for seventh grade students at SMP Negeri 21 Tangerang. This study used theory from some experts to deepen the study about listening skill through animation since listening took important role in learning English. The writer used quantitative method to collect, analysis, and serve the data from the survey that the wtiter took in SMP Negeri 21 Tangerang in seventh grade. The result showed that using annimation to improve the students listening is very effective because usually when learning new language, the first thing that students doing is listening.
