Abstract
This research was conducted by analyzing the cultural terms in the “Eleanor & Park” novel, which were translated from English into Indonesian. This research aims to identify and describe 1) the types of cultural terms in the “Eleanor & Park” novel; and 2) the translation techniques used in translating cultural terms in Rowell’s “Eleanor & Park” novel from English to Indonesian. There are 14 translation techniques used to translate 227 cultural terms. The 14 translation techniques appear 308 times in three different variants, which are divided into single by 150 (66.1%), couplet by 72 (31.7%), and triplet by 5 (2.2%).
