Abstract

The tittle of the this study is A Semiotic Analysis Of Health Protocol For Covid19 Pandemic In The Selected Digital Posters. This study is aimed to describe semiotic studies concerning signs and their meanings found in the selected digital posters about health protocol for Covid-19 issues on The Ministry of Health of the Republic Indonesia's official Facebook account. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method which tries to identify, analyze, and describe the signs using semiotics theory by Charles Sanders Pierce (1991). The data were taken from digital posters that posted on 13th May 2020 by The Ministry of Health of the Republic Indonesia on its official Facebook account as the first health protocol for worker. The result of this study shows 21 signs as the main data from three selected digital posters on The Ministry of Health of the Republic Indonesia's official Facebook account. The health protocol contains orders or prohibitions from the Ministry of Health in implementing health protocols during the Covid-19 pandemic, especially for workers. All these prohibitions and orders were made with the aim of reducing the spread and transmission of the coronavirus.
