The thesis entitled” AN ANALYSIS OF IMAGERY ON ALICIA KEYS’ SONGS BASED ON FEMINIST CRITICISM”. The writer analyze 5 (five) songs from Alicia Keys they are Superwoman, Girls on Fire, A Woman’s Worth, No One and Diary. The method used in this study is qualitative that explaining more detail based on data collection conducted by the writer. While the writer uses theory from Edgar V. Robert, Robert DiYanni, and Maggie Humm. Finding and analysis of this study consist of two parts. First, finding the imageries in Alicia Keys songs and explain the possible meaning. Second, correlated the imageries found with feminist criticism. Key words: imagery, lyrics, feminist criticism.
