Abstract

The main focus of this research is to find the moral values contained in the novel by doing the data analysis. To analyze the novel, qualitative analysis is used in this research. The analysis itself was done after following the stepes for describing the things that happened in the novel, such as the kinds of moral values and also the and negative moral values. After doing the analysis, this novel contains some moral values which devided into kinds of moral values such as: bravery, honesty, steadfastness, sympathetic to others, cooperativeness, thankfulness, humbleness, kind-hearted, trustwortiness, sincerity, and love and effection. The negative moral values are tricky, heartlessness and sly and odd. Those moral values can be applied in the teaching and learning process, especially in English Educational Study Program.
