Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the archetypal parts usage and the parts of archetype in the main character emerge in “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street” movie as the object of data analysis. The theory used in this study was Jung (1875). Qualitative approach is applied in this study as it focuses on analytical psychology. The result of this study shows that the parts of archetype usage by the main character to do the plan to his revenge runs smoothly in the “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street” movie.
