Abstract

This study entitled “Characterization of Main Character and Moral Value on “Just Say No” Novel by Omar Tyree”. The writer focuses to analyze characterization of main character by using DiYanni’s ( 2004 ) theory and moral value from Hartman’s ( 2009 ) theory in “Just Say” Novel . This study is researched by qualitative method. The data were taken from dialogues and narrative. Then, she describes the characterization of main character and moral value. Based on the analyze result, the characterization of main character changing and the moral values appears depend on the situations. Keywords: Characterization of main character, Moral value .
