Abstract

This study entitled “ WOMEN’S STRUGGLES IN PAULA HAWKIN’S THE GIRL ON THE TRAIN NOVEL “ was conducted in to portray women character and their struggles and how it impact the main characters through the narratives in “The Girl On The Train” novel. The purpose of this study is to analyze the struggle of the women who are trying the affirations of the main character, Rachel Watson, Megan and Anna by using Carl Rogers theory. This study shows that Rachel Watson, Megan, and Anna are the victims who experienced all kind of problems and how they can continue living with all the problems they are dealing with.
