Abstract

English as an International language, requires everyone to learn the language. In fact, it has been introduced since Kindergarten which is the right time as a form of preparation in dealing with the world. This thesis entitled “Improving Student’s Listening Skill Through Magic Book at Kindergarten Students of Mandira School Bintaro” has a purpose to develop students’ ability in listening skill through “Magic book”. This thesis was written to find out how listening teaching was applied to the students of Mandira School using the pen from “Magic book”. This study analyzed based on a qualitative approach through observation, interviewing the teacher and giving evaluation of the materials. As the data source used is from Mandira School Bintaro consisting of 15 students. The result can be concluded that teaching listening skill through Magic Book can motivate, make an enthusiasm, and easier the students to improve their listening skill and also help them to express their English better.
