Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang psikologi tingkah laku dari seorang ibu dalam novel “My Sister’s Keeper”. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkah laku karakter utama, dan sudut pandang responden terhadap tingkah laku objek. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teori Eagly dan Chaiken digunakan untuk meneliti respon anak-anak terhadap tingkah laku tokoh utama. Ada tiga respon yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu: respon affektif, respon tingkah laku, dan respon kognitif. Penelitian ini mungkin bisa berguna untuk penulis lain yang akan membahas tentang psikologi tingkah laku. Kata kunci: tingkah laku, psikologi, affektif, kebiasaan tingkah laku, kognitif.
