Abstract

This study is entitled “TEACHING ENGLISH USING FABLES THROUGH TOTAL PHYSICAL RESPONSE METHOD FOR 4th GRADE AT SDI AL-FAJAR”. The aim of the study is to analyze teaching English using fables through TPR. The writer used qualitative approach to analyze the data of the study with observation, an interview with the teacher and the questionnaire for students to get more information. The result of the study showed that teaching English using fable through TPR was more fun, and interesting. It showed that the students gave good responses during the learning process. The students could follow the instruction given by their teacher; they were able to answer the questions raised. Besides, the score gained by the students were relatively excellent.
