Abstract

In this study, the writer analyzed Fight Club film directed by David Fincher in 1999. The study focuses on problems of how to know the causes of schizophreniaand the symptoms of schziophrenia of the main character, and how the awereness from the hallucinations suffered by the main character in this film. The objective of the study is to show the problem of psychology of the main character in Fight Club film. The method of this study is qualitative method. Then, it can be proved with the results of watching film. In this analysis, the writer finds out the psychological problem experienced by the main character. Schizophrenia is a mental illness that makes the sufferer can not distinguish between reality and hallucination. Keywords : Psychoanalysis, Schizophrenia, Film, Character and Characterization.
