Abstract
This undergraduate thesis discusses the European classical fairytale in a picture book entitled Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs which has so far been widely recognized by children and adults. Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs tells about a princess who will be killed by her mother in various ways. And then the princess was then saved by a prince from another kingdom. The data source was analyzed by using 31 Propp‘s Function theory by Vladimir Propp. The result of the analysis shows that Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs has the structure similar to Russian folktales, the ones that were analyzed by Vladimir Propp. Key Words : Fairytale, Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs, 31 Propp‘s Function analysis
