Abstract

This study is aimed at analyzing kinds of plot used in “Wonder” novel, and conflicts which happen to the main character Auggie. In this study, the writer usesqualitative approach and visited some libraries to find references for analyzing kinds of plot and conflict. The result of this study shows there is structure of plot: exposition, complication, climax, falling action, and resolution used in “Wonder” novel. This novel also has conflicts; there are two kinds of conflicts which happen to the main character. The conflicts are internal and external conflicts. The internal conflict happen between Auggust against himself and the external conflict is experienced by August against another character.
