Abstract

The study entitled “An Analysis of Personality Disorder of Main Character in “The Quiet” Movie by Jamie Babbit” was intends to analyze characterization and personality disorder and also the causes of personality disorder happen in main character in a film by using psychological criticism. Qualitative method was used to analyze the data in this in this study. There is one main theory and several supporting theories in order to obtain the relevant analysis between the theory and the statements of the problem. From the data analysis, it was found that the main character has personality disorder namely borderline personality disorder which is caused by her past traumatic.
