Abstract
This study is aimed to find out the children’s responses about the story in the movie. It is also aimed to find out which princess character that children like the most in Frozen. This studywas based on the questionnaires that have been spread to 20 children in SeruniPutih Elementary School Pamulang as the respondents. Qualitative methods is used in this study. The data are taken from questionnaire to the children and analyze the problem by using reader response theory. Theories from Holland is used to analyze children’s responses about the story of Frozen. The finding shows that all respondents give good responses eventhough they just give short explanation.The writer concludes that some of the respondents were not only like the princess character in those movie, but they also know the story. Key words: children’s literature, movie, plot, character, reader response.
