Abstract
The title of this study is “An Analysis of Gender Language in John Green’s “The Fault in Our Star” novel. This study concerned on the analysis of Sociolinguistic which is limited of Gender Language. There are two kinds of gender language existing in this world, they are men and woman language. The aim of this study is to find out the reason why there are some differences language between men and woman. This study is using the theory from Lakoff, Wardaugh and Flotow to analyze some aspects of differences language between men and woman. Qualitative approach is used to analyze the data. The result of this study is to help the reader to know the reason of differences gender language between men and woman. The reasons of differences consist of different psychology, different social status, and different cultural background. Keyword: Gender, Gender Language, Woman language, Men Language
