Abstract
This research aims to investigate the role and function of teacher’s, infrastructure’s, and the environment’s of business and industry on the working adaptation ability which is mediated by a job skill. Since the 1990’s, the learning process of vocational high school focused on the dual system education which integrated the learning process at school and the real activities in an environment of business and industry. The learning principles uses link and match approach which is link with the work field and match to an environment of business and industry demands and needs. The result showed that job skill mediated the role and function of teachers, infrastructures, and environment of business and industry toward a working adaptation ability. However, job skill just roles as a pure mediation for function of teacher’s toward a job skill ability. Conclusion, a working adaptation ability was performed by job skill.
