Abstract
This study is entitled “The effectiveness of Google Meet and WhatsApp’s voice note on students' speaking achievement in pandemic covid-19”. This study aims to identify the effectiveness of the google meet and WhatsApp’ voice note in distance learning on students’ speaking achievement. The study was conducted on the four teachers and thirty students at Asshafa Kindergarten School Sawangan Depok through observation, interviews, and questionnaires used a quantitative method according to Sugiyono, 2016. The writer used theory from Yinger, 1987 to analyze this study. From the data analyse it was found that the outturn from observation shows a significant development student speaking skill score in distance learning. From the interview with the four teachers shows that students were able to identify and achieve speaking skill according to indicators such as understand animal names, count, letters and sounds in English. The score interpretation criteria from the questionnaires shows 72% of students understand the spoken text and responses. The several results indicate that Google Meet and WhatsApp’s voice note are effective in improving students' speaking achievement in pandemic covid-19.
