Abstract

Vocabulary is one important aspect of English Language that makes the students easy to comunicate. This study is entitled “Teaching Vocabulary through Song and Body Movement” which is aimed to describe the teacher’s activities in teaching vocabulary, the method used in this study is qualitative method. The technique of collecting data through observation, interview and test. This study used theory from James Asher. This technique is appropriate for children’s to improve their vocabulary skills. Based on the data analysis it was found that the children’s very enthusiastic in the learning process of song and body movement as means learning.
