The result of this study indicates that The God of Small Things novel appears to be discussing the representation of the West and the East along with the postcolonial spatial strategy of the dualistic condition of post-colonial India, despite the fact that India itself is one of the dualistic post-colonial societies that is still carrying out Indian traditions while carrying out colonial heritage. Both concepts have rules that govern people's lives and have very strict boundaries. Therefore, the novel depicted the West and East in the context of the domestic space and its surroundings, which eventually leads to transgressions.
