Abstract
This study is aimed at uncovering of acculturation issues found in the film “Raya and The Last Dragon” by Osnat Shurer and Peter Del Vecho which was released in 2021. This study used a qualitative descriptive method and the data sources were obtained from images and conversations in the film. Acculturation theory from Berry (1997) and (2006) has been applied to this study. The results of this study indicate that acculturation does not only occur in words, and interactions with people of new cultures but also in the form of actions. Acculturation occurs when a person moves or meets a new culture and both maintain each other's original culture and accept each other's differences. Actions are taken by acculturation in the form of a person being able to accept the characteristics of other cultures both in terms of clothing, food, objects, and beliefs. Therefore, acculturation must still be able to interact with people around them without any conflict in each culture to build new groups that still maintain their original culture.
