Abstract

This study interprets the representation and also the caused factor on the main character’s regression seen in Nick Drnaso’s graphic novel, entitled Sabrina. The qualitative research was applied to the study by referring to the theory of Sigmund Freud related to the regression. From the data analysis it was found the regression causes showed that regression severe problems and excessive anxiety that lead to depression and uncontrolled emotions of the main character, Teddy, makes him stronger to face his life.
