Abstract
This study aims to show that the agreement made has fulfilled the legal requirements of the agreement in accordance with Article 1320 of the Civil Code. The agreement in the commodity futures exchange is an agreement to present a mandate that has fulfilled the legal principles of the agreement. The approach method used is the normative juridical approach, which is a legal method carried out by examining library materials or secondary data. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the implementation of the client agreement or the giving of the mandate made between the customer or investor and the company had fulfilled the requirements for a valid agreement, both from the applicable laws and regulations. Futures trading is a contract product that is in the futures exchange which is in Law No. 32 of 1997 concerning Commodity Futures Trading which was later developed in Law no. 10 of 2011 concerning Commodity Futures Trading.
